Perfect car for backpackers, build-in bed, all camping equipment, clean interior, in best conditions. The car comes with all equipment we bought and collected on our road trip. You can leave asap and start your own trip.
2nd year backpacker Generation, we drove around 25.000km all the way from Perth to Sydney and a lot in between, never had any problems even under extreme temperature conditions. We always took good care of it, oil change every 10.000km and fixed minor issues:

CAR EQUIPMENT:

~ Roof box (the handiest thing on our travel! Saves a lot of time to prepare your car for sleep, perfect to store “dirty” things you don’t want on your bed sheets (as fuel cans) or stuff you don’t need every day, like tents, tools, etc.)

~ Tyre sealing spray + Electric compressor to pump flat tyres (runs with car battery)
~ Spare tyre + tools to replace tyre (never get stuck on the road because of flat tyre)

~ Bunch of sharp knives and other kitchen stuff
~ 20L Cooling box (for food and there’s nothing better than a cool drink on a hot day)
~ Some spices and sauces we don’t want to waste

The only issue is a little crack in the wind screen from road gravel. We bought it like that, it never got bigger or caused any problems.

One more thing to say: tents and roof tents are permitted in many areas. With the bed in the back and the curtains you can nearly sleep everywhere. Even in the cities you can camp in small neighbourhoods without catching somebody’s eye.

*WA is the only state where you can register your car or extend your licence online, by post or phone. No road certificates needed, can be done everywhere in Australia. Very handy when you’re traveling and a good selling argument for later
