I'm going back to the UK so I'm selling my reliable Ford Falcon station wagon (year 2000). This 2WD car has taken me all round Australia.

It's the perfect backpacker car:
- It sleeps two people easily
- It has loads of space, which means you can take many travel buddies and bags
- It's fuel efficient - it requires 8.5 litres of unleaded petrol per 100km, and it costs $80 to fill the tank
- It was fine to take it on most of the unsealed roads that are "4WD recommended"

* It's done 291,000km
* Registration valid until 7th November 2018
* Western Australia number plate (1GDJ250), so very easy to renew the registration by post/online
* 6 cylinder, 4.0 litre engine
* Automatic car
* Cruise control
* Power steering
* Spare tyre with necessary tools
* Radio/cassette player
* Electric front windows and manual back windows

The car is in a good condition and has been regularly serviced, including in:
● May 2018: Headlight relay replaced; Windscreen wiper blades replaced; Brake fluid flushed, bled and replaced; Brake pads and discs replaced; Ball joints and wheel bearings replaced
● July 2018: Two new back tyres; Resonator replaced
● Note that the cold air conditioning doesn't work - just open the windows to cool down
